Dr. Rakesh Malhotra holds several academic degrees, namely, M.Sc. (Dairying), Ph.D. (Public Administration), and D.Lit. (Public Administration).
He has a cumulative experience of over 36 years in the Development sector through policy advocacy, strategic planning, project management, governance, vocational skill development, financial inclusion, community institution building, capacity building and research.
He has had the privilege of working in the capacity of the:
State Head, UNDP Madhya Pradesh;
Lead – Financial Literacy & Capacity Building in NRLM;
Project Director, Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Parishad, Rajasthan;
Head, Domestic Consulting Division of BASIX,
Managing Director of Rajasthan Mission for Livelihoods,
He has also worked for the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and the Bankers Institute for Rural Development (BIRD) for more than 22 years.
In his field, he has published more than thirty-five articles, monograms, and books. To his credit, there are about thirty-two Research reports. He has also presented papers at a number of National and International Seminars / Workshops. He is also a Life Member of six professional bodies.
Mr. Shiv Kumar academically holds professional qualifications of M.Sc in Dairying (Animal Husbandry), M.B.A in Marketing and Sales Management, M.A in Clinical Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health, One year Diploma in Counselling skills, Diploma in Community Mental Health from NIMHANS Bangalore.
He holds a Certificate in a Course in Mental Health and Psychological issues during COVID-19 from NIMHANS, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychological Assessment of Children and adolescents in special circumstances.
He is currently working as a Counsellor with National Career Service (Ministry of Labour & Employment) Govt. of India New Delhi.
He holds expertise as a Psychological Counsellor, a Clinical Psychotherapist and is qualified to conduct Psychometric assessments, and formulate strategies as to how to restructure the pattern of irrational thinking of emotionally distressed, unpleasant and dysfunctional persons.
He is also apt in creating strategies as to how to cope up and change unproductive thoughts and maladaptive behaviour to rationally and empower and foster positive mental health & well-being & personal growth and lead an improved quality life.
He has a rich experience of more than 30 years in sectors of Dairy, Co-operatives, State Federations, Multinationals and the National Dairy Development Board.
Mr. Misra started his career in 1984, as a Field Officer with CARE (a not-for-profit organisation associated with United States Agency for International Development – USAID). He then joined as a 1986-87 batch Probationary Officer (PO) in State Bank of India.
Subsequently, he moved on to Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) for over 14 years. GK has served on the Boards of many companies including those listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. He is an empanelled consultant with multilateral agencies such as UNDP, DFID, etc. and a Mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation. GK is widely read and his experience spans over office automation, global NGO, polymers, commercial/development banking, Treasury Operations, Automotive Consulting, Solar Consulting, Strategic Advisory & Management, Personal Growth & Learning. He has had a bird’s eye view of the corporate world owing to his stints in several Boardrooms.
Ms. Narayani Gupta holds a Master’s degree in Applied Management from the School of Applied Management, (RGPV), Bhopal. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Development Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
She has a professional experience of 3 years in the Development sector and has worked towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and has drafted various Project proposals.
She has contributed to the Transformation in Aspirational Districts Programme (TADP). She was positioned as Research Analyst at United Nations Development Programme, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and currently is a Research Associate at RGICS, RGF, New Delhi. Her area of specialsiation is – MSME, Liveihoods and project proposal development.
She is literally the Co-Founder of IDEA having shaped the Trust with her passion and innovative ideas.
Ms. Shilpi Mehrotra pursued her post graduation in Development Studies from University of Allahabad, in addition to a PG Diploma in Human Rights with specialisation in Women and Child rights from IIHR, New Delhi. Currently, she is pursuing her Phd. from Allahabad University.
Her area of work is related to projects related to women empowerment. Her expertise lies in proposal writing, implementation of development projects, liasoning with Govt./Pvt. agencies, preparation of project reports, conducting trainings and capacity building programmes and other project related work such as documentation, etc. She has worked for a considerable period of time with the All India Women’s Conference at their head office in New Delhi and with BISLD (BAIF Institute for sustainable and livelihood Development at its state head office in Allahabad.
Ms. Atifa Naaz holds a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration with Honours from the School of Applied Management, (RGPV), Bhopal and has post-graduated with a degree in Applied Management.
Apart from active participation at college level activities, workshops, and seminars, she has always been enthusiastic about internship programs that are rich in experience and knowledge.
Her whole tenure as an Intern was abundant with duties and responsibilities. She worked for the sensitisation of SDGs by examining indicators at grass-root levels in the Rural districts of Madhya Pradesh. She has also interned at Aims Service Pvt. Ltd, Indore, where she assisted in the development of social media strategies which increased brand awareness and revenue. She also aided in identifying key demographics through customer sales information and market research.
Ms. Namrata Chandorkar is a fifth-year Law student currently studying at ILS Law College, Pune. She will be pursuing her Masters in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago, starting this fall.
She has been a Legal Intern at three different High Courts of India and has worked part-time with various local NGOs in Maharashtra.
She has also interned with the United Nations Development Programme in Madhya Pradesh. She regularly holds training sessions in public speaking and Model UN training for kids via foundations like the Teach for India Foundation. She is an avid Model UN participant and has been a panelist in over 25 Conferences in India. She has been a Chairperson at various International Student Conferences held in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Cambridge.
Mr. Nihal Chaitanya is currently pursuing his Masters in Science from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal.
He has worked with United Nations Development Programme, Bhopal in Integrated Tribal Development Project and improving women health. In 2019, he worked in fullerene chemistry in ARCI, Hyderabad. In his free time, he is into cooking, reading and pranking.
Mr. Sehaj Singh, is a second-year political science student at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi.
Mr. Sehaj has worked as a Research Intern at the Office of the Health Minister, Govt. of NCT Delhi. During his tenure with the Delhi Secretariat, he worked closely with the Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics as well as on issues such as substance abuse with the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Apart from this, he is also serving as an executive member at Enactus, Kirori Mal College.
Previously, he was a part of the National Team formulated by the Confederation of Young Leaders (CYL) in association with the “UN 75” initiative. He has authored several articles on issues of democracy, politics, sustainable growth, South-Asian geopolitics, etc.
Ms. Utkarsha Bansal is a B.A. (H) Political Science student at Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.
She has a keen interest in undertaking studies on subjects surrounding education (SDG 4) and gender (SDG 5).With an industry experience of over three years, she has a knack for content writing and editing.
Previously, she has worked with organizations like Rotaract, Teens of God NGO, Fortis Healthcare, DU Express and many others. She has also been invited to various Model UN Conferences across India in the capacity of ‘Head of Press’.
Ms. Kashika Kalra is a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism and Mass Cmmunication student at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Indraprastha University.
She is proficient in using graphic editor developed softwares like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Corel Draw, Indesign, Canva etc. She also has knowledge about various digital marketing tools like email marketing, content creation, Adobe etc. She is also working with Rotaract club. Previously she has worked with various organisations like NGOs, Fortis Healthcare, as well as MUN’s as International Press.
Mr. Vidip Malhotra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
He has 3 years of work experience in the Information Technology industry. Mr. Vidip has built multiple software infrastructures for startups, along with having worked for banking firms. He was also appointed as a Software Engineer at GrouthTruth.
